A COLORFUL HISTORY

Waterville maintains its historic feeling as if caught in a wrinkle in time.   Many buildings in town are listed on the State and National Historic Registers of Historic Places.  Waterville has always been a center for wheat commerce; farming is still a mainstay of the local economy.  Descendants of pioneer families preserve the Waterville historic tradition and give the community a sense of stability.  Newcomers are always welcome and add much to the vitality of the town.

A GREAT PLACE TO VISIT

Several events draw big crowds to the Town of Waterville each year, including the North Central Washington Fair and Rodeo.   At other times, visitors are attracted by the quiet ambience of this historic small American town, situated in a geologically diverse area.  Whether walking, biking, or driving, tourists enjoy the open vistas, the solitude, and the clean air of the high plateau.

A GREAT PLACE TO DO BUSINESS

The Town of Waterville features high speed fiber optics internet connections, some of the cheapest electricity rates in the nation, and plenty of available commercial property.  A stable work force resides right in town, attracted by efficient services, affordable housing, and a safe living environment
